She needs love.
Valentine's Day is a whole day revolved around l.o.v.e. Many associate this day with their "true love." However, being the single lady that I am, I associate this day with the many things I love....fashion, cupcakes, and balloons.
I was so excited to wear a Herve Leger dress for today. If you know this designer, you are probably questioning how a broke college girl, as myself, can afford such a piece. Well I have a little secret. It is called renttherunway.com. This website allows people to rent designer dresses at 90% off retail price. For example, this amazing puppy retails for $1015, but I rented it for $45. I really recommend checking it out for my details. Now I was a little ballsy to wear such a piece as it hugged every curve in my body. BUT curves need love too on Valentine's day. Not only Valentine's day, but everyday! In addition, I love wearing choker necklaces. They really emphasize the neck, which is one of my favorite parts of my body. Shoe wise, I kept it simple with a Steve Madden platform. I love these heels because they literally go with everything. I recommend having a black pump in your wardrobe at all times. My jacket is a Chelsea & Violet. I haven't been able to find anything that works with it, but it worked great especially with the brisk weather in Savannah. When I am deciding on a jewelry pick, I mostly keep it simple. The biggest reason being I don't collect as much jewelry as I should. My money mostly goes to my obsession with shoes. I should probably switch over for a little while. But my jewelry consist of Kate Spade earrings, Swarovski crystal black bangle, and my pandora bracelet (which I have take off). Well, I hope everyone has a great Valentines, whether you are spending it with a loved one, friends, or by yourself. Always remember to find love in something.

xoxo,
She means business.
Red. A color that can definitely make a statement. Whether it be sexy or sophisticated, red is one of my favorite colors. It's powerful.
The cashmere sweater you could say was something of a serendipity. It worked well with the red. Allowing the red to be balanced. I love that it is cashmere. The different fabrics of this outfit say, "WE HAVE NO RULES." I really feel that you should never limit yourself when it comes to fashion. Pairing something with a complimentary color or different fabric sometimes pulls the outfit together and makes it unique.
Talking accessories. I needed a necklace to really finish this outfit off. This chunky red necklace really pulls the black cashmere sweater into the red pencil skirt. Giving it a POP.
NOW. I can really talk shoes. I have quite an obsession. I felt my outfit had an essence of business woman. And every business woman owns a pair of black pointed heels. These BCBG's looked perfect. Of course, you can never go wrong with a pair of cross-hatched tights, especially when your pieces are solid. To finish the look, I grabbed my Prada glasses and walked out the door feeling powerful in my own sense. Fashion can do so much for a woman.
